Populace Coffee x Detroit Riverfront Conservancy Coffee Bag

I was asked to illustrate a label for a Populace Coffee bag to directly benefit the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.

To reflect the diverse community served by the riverfront, it was important to draw people of various ages and ethnicities. I made sure to also include native flowers like trillium, black eyed susans, milkweed, and coneflower, and native birds like pheasant, the redwing blackbird, and the blue heron. See if you can spot folks making s’mores around the fireplace, biking, fishing, and playing in the sand. I certainly need to visit the bear slide one day once that is complete!
